HCRN was highlighted in the 2015 issue of “YEARBOOK OF PEDIATRICSâ€. This is an annual publication that presents highlights in various fields of pediatrics. For 2015, the HCRN paper on endoscopic third ventriculostomy and choroid plexus cauterization (1) was highlighted. The reviewer discussed the paper, but emphasized the role that HCRN is playing in pediatric hydrocephalus. “The approach of a coordinated network of investigators to answer common surgical questions in our field has, in a short time, yielded more grounded and practical guidance than any number of prior well intentioned efforts. This paper and others produced by HCRN serve as a model for how pediatric surgical specialists can approach the many unanswered questions we face daily…â€
